Basement Waterproofing Mexico, NY

Nancy and Tom first reached out to Woodford Bros., Inc. after speaking with Devin Czarnecki (Marketing Assistant & Customer Care Rep.) at the NYS Fair. Nancy called the office and spoke with Devin to schedule a free estimate for concerns about the water in her basement. The basements foundation is old cobble stone and there was waterproofing system in the basement. During heavy rains and harsh weather conditions like, snow thaws the basement would puddle up with water all over. This left the basement damp and smelly year around.

  Lee Woodford a Design Specialist on our Sales Team visited Tom and Nancy’s home to take a look. He provided them with a proposal to help keep the basement dry year round.  The detailed proposal that Lee gave them included high quality solutions to keep the basement warm and dry.  1. Installing the WaterGuard system around the entire interior of the basement, this is a drainage system that works with a Sump Pump to direct water out of the basement and way from outer foundation walls. 2. Install the buried drainage discharge line on the exterior of foundation to drain water pumped out of basement way from foundation. Then put down fresh top soil and grass seed. 3. A TripleSafe Sump Pump then installed to pump the water into the WaterGuard drainage system and outside. This Sump Pump has many features such as, and IceGuard System and attaches to the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. 4. Install SaniDry Sedona high performance dehumidification and air purification system to keep humidity levels low. Also, keeps the basement from growing mold or mildew and bad orders. 5. Installed CleanSpace liner on basement walls up to the top and down to the bottom with the WaterGuard System. This will keep the walls dry and from growing mold. The CleanSpace Liner draws in water from the walls and then drains into the WaterGuard System and then out of the basement though the buried discharge line.

  The Projects Foreman was Jim Stephens and he brought along his co-Foreman Jay Michnya. Jim and his crew work extremely well together and are experts in this type of Basement Waterproofing. They always leave customers extremely happy and go above what the customers’ expectations. At the end of the job Nancy and Tom completed a survey that Jim gives all his customers once work has been completed and gave each department a 10 rating!
