Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Exterior Basement Waterproofing in Honeoye Falls, NY

An older barn in Honeoye falls was built with a stacked stone foundation. Water would readily seep through the walls and created cold wet environment in the basement of the barn. The owner of the barn decided to install our exterior waterproofing system, called WBI Curtain Drain, to protect the barn from any water intrusion. The first step is to excavate to the bottom of the stone wall. Then the wall is parged. We then install a drainage system at the base of the wall that is tied to a sump. Next, a coating is applied and insulation is installed. The system is then framed and backfilled with crushed stone.
