When the Orda Jumps Lodge at Lake Placid Olympic Facility decided to add on an outdoor viewing deck, the engineers involved realized the original foundation would need some extra capacity.

A series of helical piles were installed to give the lodge the capacity to carry additional loads.
Helical Installation
The helicals were installed with retrofit brackets that attached to the foundation.
Ready for Local Contractors to Complete
Now with the added support the local contractors can complete the new deck so it will be ready for this year's competitions
