Wayne from Central Square, NY called Woodford Bros., Inc. for help with his Wall & Floor Support repair project. One wall of the foundation had a horizontal crack from one end of the foundation to other end. The lack of support caused the foundation wall to bow (you can see in the pictures). The Customer Care Center got Wayne scheduled for a free estimate with our Design Specialist Dakotah Tiffany. Dakotah provided Wayne with a highly effective solution to repair and stabilize his bowing foundation.

Nancy called the office and spoke with Devin to schedule a free estimate for concerns about the water in her basement. The basements foundation is old cobble stone and there was waterproofing system in the basement. During heavy rains and harsh weather conditions like, snow thaws the basement would puddle up with water all over. This left the basement damp and smelly year around.
Lee Woodford a Design Specialist on our Sales Team visited Tom and Nancy’s home to take a look. He provided them with a proposal to help keep the basement dry year round. The detailed proposal that Lee gave them included high quality solutions to keep the basement warm and dry. 1. Installing the WaterGuard system around the entire interior of the basement, this is a drainage system that works with a Sump Pump to direct water out of the basement and way from outer foundation walls. 2. Install the buried drainage discharge line on the exterior of foundation to drain water pumped out of basement way from foundation. Then put down fresh top soil and grass seed. 3. A TripleSafe Sump Pump then installed to pump the water into the WaterGuard drainage system and outside. This Sump Pump has many features such as, and IceGuard System and attaches to the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. 4. Install SaniDry Sedona high performance dehumidification and air purification system to keep humidity levels low. Also, keeps the basement from growing mold or mildew and bad orders. 5. Installed CleanSpace liner on basement walls up to the top and down to the bottom with the WaterGuard System. This will keep the walls dry and from growing mold. The CleanSpace Liner draws in water from the walls and then drains into the WaterGuard System and then out of the basement though the buried discharge line.

Basement Waterproofing in Hannibal, NY 13074
Woodford Bros., Inc.
Stacie from Hannibal, NY reached out to Woodford Bros., Inc. in October of 2019, after seeing a Woodford Truck while driving. After research our company and reading through our reviews, she called to schedule an appointment for an estimate on waterproofing her basement. Stacey, in the Customer Care Center at Woodford Bros., Inc. was the first point of contact for Stacie. Stacie, from Hannibal, NY told Stacey in the Customer Care Center, she has a French drain system, a sump pump and dehumidifier running in the basement. No cracks or settling was visible in the foundation but, mineral and mold build up on the walls throughout the entire basement. The house is located in a naturally wet area and was built in 1967, so these concerns are common. In a few years Stacie was planning to “flip” the house so she didn’t want to go over her budget for this project.
Stacey in the Customer Care Center, scheduled her a free estimate appointment with one of our Design Specialist, Andy Ryan on the sales team here at Woodford Bros., Inc.
Andy visited the home and did a full inspection of the basement foundation on the interior and exterior of the home. Then, Andy sat down with Stacie to review her options for waterproofing her basement and getting rid of mold and mildew growth on the walls. Once the appointment was completed Andy left Stacie a detailed proposal for the project, and she decided to think it over before signing the proposal for the work to be done.
A few days later, Amy the Account Specialist contacted to Stacie to review the proposal Andy had provided her. Amy works with the Design Specialist team to help manage customer’s proposals after the completed appointments. She follows up to gain feedback and the status of appointments to aide customers and help assist in moving forward with the proposed project.
Stacie from Hannibal, NY told Amy that she still wasn’t sure what to do, she had gotten another estimate from a company that told her they could seal the walls to prevent mold and mildew growth for a low cost. The estimate Stacie had gotten from another contractor was just a “Band-Aid” to the under lying problems in her basement. Amy went over the proposal with Stacie via phone and they agreed that Andy needed to go back out and meet with Stacie again to help give her piece of mind and confidence in Woodford Bros., Inc.
Stacie made a final decision to have Woodford Bros., Inc. complete the proposed work to waterproof her basement after meeting with Andy a second time. Although she had shopped around for other estimate she was confident in trusting Andy and the company.
Stacie’s project to waterproof her basement has been scheduled by the Production Coordinator, Tess to begin in Mid-February of 2020. The Foreman and his crew with be installing the following products and systems to the basement. A WaterGuard perimeter drainage system along the foundation walls will be dug and installed. Also, they will install TrenchDrains and WaterGuard ports for access to the system. Attached to the sump pump and waterGuard drainage system will be a buried discharge line to pump water from the interior to the exterior of the foundation. And lastly, to improve the functions of the sump pump a TripleSafe Liner will be installed.

A Clayton, NY home built in 1985 had some horizontal and stair step cracking in one of the basement walls. This home owner had noticed the cracks and decided to take care of the problem before it got worse. These problems never get better with time, they get better with us. The home owner found us after a quick search on the internet so he gave us a call. Our Customer Care department asked him a few questions about what was happening so they could said the right Design Specialist to inspect the situation.
