Dave just bought a lake house in Scipio Center. He was ready to make interior renovations but he knew that he needed a good base before he got started. When choosing a company to work with Dave knew that it was important to work with somebody that has a good reputation. He knew that Woodford Brothers has been repairing since 1962 and kept a good reputation ever since. Our design specialist provided him with a same day proposal and set an installation date to complete the necessary repairs. Now that there is a good solid base, Dave can begin his interior renovations knowing they will last for many years to come.

Founded in 1962, Woodford Bros., Inc.'s original focus was foundation and barns. Now,  we do basement waterproofing, concrete leveling, radon mitigation, and basement finishing. That's where the name "Basement Brothers" comes from. The owner's Tom and Mike Woodford believe in being honest and hardworking. Our headquarters is in Apulia Station, outside of Tully, NY. Elise has been living in her Groton, NY home for nearly 10 years. Over the past several years, he has begun to experience issues with dampness in her basement, causing concern over mold growth, and making the space less usable. Wanting to alleviate the issue to better utilize the basement space, she decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection of the space, our Design Specialist suggested a combination of systems including WaterGuard, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and the CleanSpace System. 

WaterGuard is a French drain system that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing.  The system then collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to the sump pump. In turn, the TripleSafe Sump Pump provides the ultimate protection for wet basements, with the ability to pump up to 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. Finally, the CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier is a 100% waterproof plastic vapor barrier that is durable, washable, and even has anti-microbial protection built right in. With this combination of systems installed, Elise will have a permanently dry and usable basement.

This home's wall needed major renovation. The Woodford crew came in a did a process called shot lock. The process is concrete sprayed on the wall to stop the deterioration. What a transformation for this homeowner.

After acquiring a radon test in his home in Locke, NY, Duane found that the radon levels were higher than the EPA action level of 4 pCi/L. Our friendly staff in the Customer Care Department helped Duane set an appointment with a Design Specialist when he called us as a result of a quick internet search. Once the Design Specialist finished his thorough inspection and provided Duane with a same day proposal, the install date was set with our installation crew. The crew made quick work of installing our National Radon Defense designed radon mitigation system. Now Duane can enjoy his home with peace of mind that dangerous radon gases are properly mitigated.
