Founded in 1962, Woodford's original focus was foundation and barns. Now, we do basement waterproofing, concrete leveling, radon mitigation, and basement finishing. That's why Tom and Mike got the name "Basement Brothers." Honesty and hard work are at the heart of what we do, as modeled by our owners Tom and Mike Woodford. Our headquarters is in Apulia Station, outside of Tully, NY. We serve all of Central New York, including Syracuse, Rochester, Binghamton, Oswego, Ithaca, and Auburn.
This home was built a decade before the turn of the 20th century. The current owners have called it home for 40 years. The basement has always been a bit damp but the problem had clearly gotten worse in recent years. When they were tired of the wet basement floor, they began to research basement waterproofing solutions. In their search they found Woodford Brothers and because of our reputation they felt it was a good idea to schedule a free estimate. One of our Design Specialists, Eddie, listened to the home owners to learn about what the problem was and what they were hoping to accomplish. He took careful measurements and put together a proposal with options on the spot. Once a plan was in place they scheduled the installation date at which time the crew, led by Hunter, kept in communication throughout the process and cleaned up when the job was finished. Now the home owners have peace of mind that their basement floors will remain dry.
