Susan has been living in her Redwood, NY home for over 11 years. Over the past couple of years, she had begun noticing issues with water coming into her basement. Wanting to maintain her home and property value, she decided to reach out to Woodford Bros. for a free estimate for the necessary repairs. After an initial inspection of the basement, our Design Specialist suggested the installation of several of our basement waterproofing systems including WaterGuard, the TripleSafe Sump Pump, and the PowerBrace system.
WaterGuard is a French drain system that is designed to be installed below the floor slab, resting on top of the foundation footing. The system then collects water that seeps through basement walls and drains it to the sump pump. In turn, the TripleSafe Sump Pump provides the ultimate level of protection, pumping up to 11,500 gallons or more on a fully charged battery. Finally, the PowerBrace system is designed to stabilize failing basement walls and provides the potential to straighten walls over time. With this combination of systems installed, Susan can rest assured that her basement is permanently waterproofed and her property value protected.
Before beginning any home renovations in their new home in Dolgeville, NY, the homeowners wanted a sturdy foundation for renovating the basement into a finished and useable space. As you can in the before photo, the unsteady foundation was a big roadblock. Our team stepped in with the SmartJack system, as shown in the photo, ensuring a solid and secure foundation. By stabilizing the property with precision, they can now confidently transform the space into the finished basement that they wanted.
The coldest room in this 1880's built home had sloping floors. By insulating the walls and encapsulating the crawlspace, the outside air is now blocked from coming in. Using our SmartJack system we stabilized the floors. The SmartJack system is made up of glavanized steel beams and jacks. The jacks are capable of supporting up to 50,000 pounds each and are strong enough to be used to adjust and lift the floors back up.
Faced with a sinking concrete apron in their garage that raised concerns about the safety and functionality of their driveway, a homeowner in Old Forge, NY, turned to us for help. As you can see in the before photo, the significantly uneven concrete was more than just an eyesore; it was a jeopardy to their home's integrity. Opting for a sustainable and effective repair, we utilized PolyLevel and NexusPro, innovative products known for their durability. The after photo illustrates the seamless elevation and sealing, reflecting our commitment to providing not just a fix, but a long-lasting solution for peace of mind.
