This over 100-year-old home in Lima had floors that began to sag over time. Woodford Brothers used the Smart Jack system to fix the problem. This SmartJack system is complete with a SmartJack Beam. All materials are galvanized steel so that they will not degrade over time. The base for the SmartJacks can each hold up to 50,000 pounds. The Jacks, the base, and the beam are so strong that they can be used to lift floors back up. Now the homeowner has peace of mind that their flooring system is repaired permanently.
Mary and Robert of Brockport, NY did not want their foundation wall to cave in. There were horizontal and stair step cracks in his block foundation walls. It was also bowing in. A home inspector noticed the issue and recommended Woodford Brothers. Knowing that problems like these do not get better with time and can only get worse, he gave us a call. He booked his free estimate with the help of our Customer Care team. Design Specialist, Tim, performed a thorough inspection and provided Mary and Robert with some options on the same day of the inspection. They agreed that Carbon Armor straps were a solid choice. Once installed the CarbonArmor straps are 10,000 times stronger that steel and guarantee that the foundation wall will not give in to hydrostatic pressure or move another inch. Foreman, James, and his crew made quick and clean work of installing the Carbon Armor. Now Mary and Robert have peace of mind that their foundation walls are sturdy and stable.

The foundation on one part of Bob's home had degraded over the years. Constant exposure to the elements made a small problem get bigger. Bob had plans to move out of state but before he made the big move he knew it would be best to make some repairs to preserve the value of his home in Rush, NY. Since Woodford has been repairing since 1962 he had heard of our name and what we do. When he called us to book his appointment our Customer Care team scheduled a free estimate with one of our design specialists. When our design Specialist, Lindsay saw what was going on she knew exactly what needed to be done. She provided a quote on the spot and they booked an installation date. Our crew, led by Rob, made quick work of excavating enough to expose the foundation by about 6". They infilled the empty areas with mortar to maintain the structural integrity of the wall. They then pressure washed the wall and applied a coat of surface bonding cement to parget the foundation. When complete the excavated materials were replaced and the finished product is a strong beautiful looking foundation wall. Property value restored.
