The foundation on one part of Bob's home had degraded over the years. Constant exposure to the elements made a small problem get bigger. Bob had plans to move out of state but before he made the big move he knew it would be best to make some repairs to preserve the value of his home in Rush, NY. When he called us to book his appointment our Customer Care team scheduled a free estimate with one of our design specialists. When our design Specialist, Lindsay saw what was going on she knew exactly what needed to be done. She provided a quote on the spot and they booked an installation date. Our crew, led by Rob, made quick work of excavating enough to expose the foundation by about 6". They infilled the empty areas with mortar to maintain the structural integrity of the wall. They then pressure washed the wall and applied a coat of surface bonding cement to parget the foundation. When complete the excavated materials were replaced and the finished product is a strong beautiful looking foundation wall. Property value restored.

We used a concrete spraying process called Shotlock to infill some of the stone walls that were in need. We also encapsulated a section of crawlspace to reduce the air flow, heat loss and to help deter critters from making a home in the crawlspace. The addition of a Sanidry Sedona changed the way the basement smells and feels by maintaining a low humidity and filtering the air. We also installed a supplemental beam with our SmartJack system to stabilize the uneven floors. They are made of galvanized steel and properly sized to hold the load of the home. Now Lindsay and Gary have peace of mind knowing their basement has been repaired.
